Nestled on the slopes around a river in Wiltshire is the pretty town of Bradford on Avon. An historical patchwork quilt of a place, it’s a great place to wander around. I was particularly fortunate on this occasion, as the winter sun mirrored the crispy cold features into the river.
There was a distinct blueness to the day, which coupled beautifully with the yellow tint of the local stone buildings.
Wander a little further along the river, and you come across the Tithe Barn; a cavernous 14th century building, where you can sense the busyness of times gone by, despite the present stillness.
These photos were taken for Bradford on Avon Town Council, and the experience helped me to explore part of what is now my local turf.
